Hellenic Renewables has announced the acquisition of two major renewable energy projects in the counties of Galați and Vaslui in Romania, thereby strengthening its local portfolio with a 282 MW wind capacity and a 186 MW/186 MWh battery storage solution. In Galați, the company will develop a 96 MW RTB wind farm, with construction set to begin soon and commissioning planned for 2027. In Vaslui County, Hellenic Renewables will implement a 186 MW hybrid wind and battery project, as part of a broader strategy that includes 211 MW of photovoltaic projects under construction and other initiatives in development, thus consolidating its position in Romania's renewable energy market.
