Viessman have new Vitosol 200-FM

Viessmann introducing a new flat panel solar thermal collector that is reported to solve issues with overheating and stagnation.

The new Vitosol 200-FM panel features a new patented absorber layer coating that changes crystal structures according to temperature, allowing the rejection of excess heat back into the environment. This prevents stagnation and heat transfer degradation caused by overheating of the panel, issues which have long plagued the solar thermal industry.
