There is a place in Romania called Lechinta, situated in Bistrita Nasaud, where you will find one of the paradoxes in Romania: there are more fixed solar panels than people. In Lechinta, a place with about 6,000 people, a private Romanian company specialized mainly in real estate has completed the works on a new solar park.
The park has 6,762 fixed solar panels with a capacity of 1.7 MW. The construction works were completed in period of 4 weeks and the entire investment is already coupled to the national energy system since middle August, 2012.
Although the total value of the investment was not released to the press, it was estimated around 3,5 million euros.
