ZX Lidars is pleased to announce that Trusted Service Provider MetCom Group has purchased five additional ZX 300e wind lidars. This latest investment brings MetCom Groups total fleet to eleven ZX wind Lidars acquired in less than six months, marking a significant expansion and highlighting strong demand for high-accuracy wind measurement solutions across Lithuania and the wider Baltic region.
The newly acquired units will primarily strengthen MetComs rental portfolio, enabling flexible deployment across multiple wind resource assessment campaigns and supporting the accelerated development of onshore wind projects. In addition to its expanding lidar rental fleet, MetCom offers a comprehensive range of supporting services, including off-grid power supply solutions (PSU systems), full field service capabilities, and ongoing maintenance to ensure reliable long-term deployments in remote and challenging environments.
As turbine hub heights continue to increase across Baltic markets, the need for accurate wind measurement at elevated heights has become critical. The ZX 300e delivers precise wind data at heights of up to 200 metres and beyond, offering a reliable, portable solution suited to both short- and long-term measurement campaigns.
With growing wind energy activity in Lithuania and neighbouring Baltic countries, MetComs expanded ZX fleet reflects continued confidence in lidar technology and ensures the capacity to meet rising regional demand.
As a ZX Trusted Service Provider, MetCom Group demonstrates technical and operational excellence, delivering accurate and reliable wind data to its clients. The company provides end-to-end wind resource assessment solutions, including the supply, sale, installation, and operation of advanced wind measurement technologies such as the ZX 300 and ZX 300e wind lidars.
Artūras Juščius, CEO of MetCom Group, commented: The ZX 300e has proven to be a reliable and accurate solution for our projects across the Baltic region. Expanding our fleet allows us to respond quickly to client needs, particularly as hub heights increase and measurement requirements become more demanding.
Keiran Knowles, Sales Manager at ZX Lidars, added: We are delighted to see MetCom continuing to expand their ZX fleet in such a short timeframe. As a ZX Trusted Service Provider, MetCom demonstrates the highest standards in wind measurement, and their growth highlights the increasing role of lidar technology in Baltic wind development. We look forward to continuing our strong working relationship and supporting their ongoing success.
