Tanczos Barna, the Romanian Minister of the Environment, wants to speed up the installation of photovoltaic panels

The Minister of the Environment from Romania, Tanczos Barna, stated on a TV show that approximately 15,000 of the more than 45,000 state subsidy files submitted for the installation of photovoltaic panels will be approved in the next period. He announces that he has asked the Environment Fund Administration to increase the rate of evaluation of files to 10,000 per month.

He mentioned that he will simplify the program so that each beneficiary who registers will receive a response from the Environment Fund Administration and a voucher with which he can go to certified companies to install photovoltaic panels. The minister expects tens of thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands of applications for the installation of such panels at the next grant application session.

We proposed to allocate around 833 million euros for these photovoltaic systems by the end of 2024, explained Tanczos.
