Green certificates market in Romania

The number of green certificates traded in the first five months of 2016 on Centralized Green Certificates Market, amounted to 1,599 about 22.5 times less than at the same period comparative with 2015 when 35 875 certificates were traded according to market operator OPCOM.

Last month, was launched 60 offers for buying and selling and was traded 344 green certificates at a price of 132.4045 lei / certificate (29.3 euros). In January was traded 906 green certificates; on February 81 and April, 268.

Green Certificates Market, have enrolled at 31 May 2016,  875 participants.

In 2015, the number of certificates traded decreased by over 73-fold to 36.618, from over 2.675 million in 2014. In 2015 until March 10, 2016 Transelectrica certificates issued 15.1 million but 480.820 green certificates  expired, no longer marketable.
